Fiddle Leaf Fig trees need bright, indirect light to survive. I have mine in my west facing window.

Water thoroughly about once a week or when the top inch of soil feels dry. Do the finger test – stick your finger a few inches into the soil. If it’s dry, water it, and if it’s still wet, don’t!
You can tell if your fiddle-leaf fig tree needs water by looking at the leaves. If they start to look droopy it’s time to water them! Under-watering them can result in a loss of leaves.

Choose a well draining soil. Ideally you want the soil to have chunky particles to encourage the water to move through and drain properly.
